Mary Haw is a professional engineer with degrees from Stanford University and the Royal Technical Institute in Stockholm. She has over 14 years’ experience delivering exceptional environmental and social sustainability outcomes in the built environment, and seeks integrated solutions to create healthier, safer and more livable cities.
Mary now leads a team at the City of Cape Town, enabling a wide range of projects within the Sustainable Energy Markets department. Through considered communication campaigns and projects that seek to unlock barriers, Mary aims to shift energy choices by inviting citizens to be part of the journey towards carbon neutrality.
