The accelerated transmission development plan

Eskom’s R178 billion Transmission Development Plan serves as a response to the country’s energy developments, particularly the Integrated Resource Plan of 2019 (IRP 2019). The TDP encompasses a continuous need for maintaining the existing transmission infrastructure, networks, and connections to continue extending economic opportunities to the communities that have supported Eskom over the years.
