Trans-Africa projects (TAP) is 50% owned by Eskom and 50% owned Fluor. Historically TAP is known as a transmission engineering consultant, activities in the IPP space have led to our involvement in renewable energy projects where our services ranged from feasibility, system/grid compliance studies to the development and integration of Renewable Energy Facilities into the national grid where we provide technical oversight through the Concept Release Approval (CRA), Design Release Approval (DRA) and Execution Release Approval (ERA) stages. TAP has a substantial reference list of projects successfully completed throughout Africa and abroad.
