The Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) is the institution in charge of the development and management of Wallonia’s international economic relations. AWEX has two cores activities : promoting exports and attracting foreign investment in Wallonia. Wallonia is the French-speaking part of Belgium. Our office in Johannesburg covers a jurisdiction of 12 countries in Southern Africa and the Indian ocean.
